At birth, there is no evil or good in us. I think we are all blank slates that have to be affected by evreyone around us to decide how evil or good we will be. Evil and good is not inherited like physical traits are. If our parent were bad, then we may turn out to be good, depending on how they raise us. Society and enviroment decide how corrupted we will become, society and environment shows us what is right by their standards, then we look at that as being the correct thing to do. If how we are raised and what we see is evil, then we are more likely to see that evil as being better than going against what we saw our whole lives.

Olympia High School Failing
If Olympia High School were failing in test scores compared to the nation's test scores, then I would agree that we should get rid of half the staff to get better scores. I would not be happy with the school shutting down, because then I might have to go to Capital High School. Getting rid of half the staff would most likely get rid of most of the bad teachers, and getting new teachers who could teach students better, and allow the students to get higher test scores, and not making the government check in on the school. But the extra money coming in from the government will help us get those good teachers and help us be better than the other schools.

Technology
With technology, comes responsiblity. We must be able to hold onto reality, yet we are always creating ways to become part of the digital world. Looking back into the past 50 years, without technology, were we really better off? If we were, why are we still looking into the future to find better ways of doing everyday tasks without us actually doing them. If today's technological world is better, than are we moving too fast for our own good, because maybe someday we will have those supercomputers that learn our ways and decide they could live without us. I don't think so, I think with technology always moving forward, we just have to move along with it.
